The beginning of a journey to the past to discover the future

The present phase of the initial journey starts with a trip by Colleen and Kim to Westford, New York were we wanted to find the graves of our  Cummings/Holmes ancestors and the family farms.  We needed a restroom, left the Westford Cemetery and went a short distance to the general store in the heart of Westford.  Went inside, no restroom, bought an ice cream, and asked about the Cummings' and the Holmes'.  The women pointed to the window were there were two books for sale on the community and founding family histories, (Ironically, the books were compiled by a distant cousin on the Holmes side)  Colleen and Kim were in the books and we found Deanna.  We also found the rest of the great-grandchildren of Fred and Lottie Cummings.  Deanna just sent the picture above that inspired this website.

We are not certain what future directions this website and our kinship will bring.  For now, we will collect pictures, share our history, and find all the Cummings Cousins.  If after you view this site, you think you are a Cummings Cousin, please contact us, we are trying to find you:
